Prof. Dr. Cemal Yeşilyurt was born in 1976. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 1998.

He completed his PhD at Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2005 and was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Karadeniz Technical University, as a founding faculty member and Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry. In 2010, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Dental Diseases and Treatment (Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics).

In 2015, he was appointed to the position of Professor.

Prof. Dr. Yeşilyurt has served on the editorial boards and academic advisory boards of numerous domestic and international journals. He served as the Associate Editor of the Journal of Restorative Dentistry for a period.

He is proficient in English.
